Sectarianism and Schism

The world's extant religions have without exception fallen prey to sectarianism and schism that have preoccupied and divided their followers to such an extent that the true spirit of the Teachings of the Authors of their respective Revelations has been so obscured that the spiritual effect which these Teachings have had on the hearts of men has been progressively weakened. Sectarianism and schism have stemmed from differences over interpretation of the Holy Scriptures and the introduction into the original Teachings of man-made dogmas and rituals.
Had the Founders of the past great religions made specific provisions concerning the matter of succession; that is, had they formally designated a successor or established a system whereby a successor or series of successors would have been endowed with unequivocal authority to interpret Holy Writ, there would have been no basis for the divisive interpretations that have sundered these Faiths, even in early Christendom, the institution of the Papacy and hierarchy of the Church had as the sole basis for its authority their interpretation of the meaning of a verbal statement that Christ had made to His Apostle, Peter.
While this authority remained unchallenged for centuries during which time the Church remained united, it was ultimately challenged by the Protestant movement with the result that today Christianity finds itself divided into hundreds of sects.

Birth of Baha’u’llah

We congratulate you on this auspicious occasion and invite to you to pay attention to the following as sincere Baha’i and true seeker of truths.

They say:

“The covenant of Baha’u’llah , explores two interwoven themes:

One is the concept of a center to which all must turn,

And the other concerns the standard of conduct that Baha’u’llah expects us to follow when we accept Him and enter into the Tabernacle of His Covenant”.

And they explain the above as under:

“Of course we know that the centre to which all Baha’is turn today is the Universal House of Justice. Baha’u’llah Himself ordained the institution of the Universal House of justice in the Kitab-i-Aqdas and Abdu’l’Baha confirms its authority in His will and Testament”.

We say:

Of course you don’t know that:

The Headless Universal House of Justice is not the centre to which all Baha’is should turn.

The entity currently to be a Universal House of Justice cannot be an “authoritative” source of guidance for true Bahá’ís because the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Baha grants the following authority to the Guardian with respect to the UHJ, an authority that is totally lacking in his absence from the so called UHJ.

At the end:

Pay attention to the Will of beloved Master Abdu’l Baha:
“The mighty stronghold shall remain impregnable and safe through obedience to him who is the guardian of the Cause of God. It is incumbent upon the members of the House of Justice, upon all the Aghsán, the Afnán, the Hands of the Cause of God to show their obedience, submissiveness and subordination unto the guardian of the Cause of God, to turn unto him and be lowly before him. He that opposeth him hath opposed the True One, will make a breach in the Cause of God, will subvert His word and will become a manifestation of the Center of Sedition”.

Dr. A. Parikh,
Hand of the Cause of God,
Member of the Third International Baha’i Council,
The secretary of National Baha’i Council of India.

Can the third guardian explain this question and answer from Kitab-i-Aqdas. I could not get it.

36. QUESTION: If the anniversary either of the Twin Birthdays or of the Declaration of the Báb occurreth during the Fast, what is to be done?

ANSWER: Should the feasts celebrating the Twin Birthdays or the Declaration of the Báb fall within the month of fasting, the command to fast shall not apply on that day.

FOLLOWERS OF BOGUS UHJ ARE CONFUSED
The Hand of Cause, the Vice President of Third International Baha'i Council, Nosrat u llah Bahremand replies to the comment:
Kevin’s question shows how the Baha’is who are following the bogus UHJ are confused due to their disobedience and infidelity to the current Guardian, Joel B Marangella, and on the other hand because of the misrepresentation of the bogus UHJ and its infringement upon the sacred and prescribed domain of the Guardian.

In 1992 when they translated and published the Aqdas in English without having authority to do so, they added some notes to this sacred Book, many of which contain unauthorized and erroneous interpretations. Equally they were guilty of similar transgressions in the introduction which they added to the Book.

Baha’u’llah, Himself, in that Most Holy Book has warned:
“Whoso interpreteth what hath been sent down from the heaven of Revelation, and altereth its evident meaning, he, verily, is of them that have perverted the Sublime Word of God, and is of the lost ones in the Lucid Book.”
 (The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 57)

The Birthdays of Baha’u’llah and the Bab were registered in the Hijri calendar which is a lunar calendar previously used in Iran and other Muslim dominated countries but today is mostly used for religious purposes. The Hijri calendar which is based on the Moon’s cycles consists of 12 months without a link to the seasons, a Hijri lunar year is usually 11 to 12 days shorter than a solar year so that an event which is registered at the same time in both calendars takes approximately 33 Hijri years to match up again. The Baha’is in Iran and the Middle East still celebrate these Holy Days on the lunar basis: the birth of the Bab on the first day and the birth of Baha’u’llah on the second day of the month of Muharram (the first month of Hijri calendar). The Baha’i calendar is on the solar basis, so it becomes obvious why the question is raised. Baha’u’llah relieved Baha’is from fasting if those Holy Days fall on the month of Alá’ (Loftiness).

To decide whether the Baha’is of Iran and the Middle Eastern countries will continue to celebrate these Holy Days on the basis of the solar calendar, as the Baha’is of the West currently do, or otherwise, will be left to the establishment of a true Universal House of Justice which will then have the Guardian of the Cause of God as its “Sacred Head,” as stipulated in the Will and Testament of Abdu'l-Baha, and accordingly thereby posses “the necessary guidance to define the sphere of legislative action of its elected representatives”.

Bahá’í Faith: Under the Guardianship

The Bahá’í Faith, under the Guardianship, is distinguished by the acceptance of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the Son of the Founder of the Faith, as a divinely-conceived, sacred, immutable and immortal Document which delineates the essential Institutions of an unique Administrative Order which, together with the application of the Laws and Principles revealed by Bahá’u’lláh, constitutes the basis for the establishment of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh and a future World Civilization.

This Order was established in embryonic form by Shoghi Effendi, the first Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith during a 36 year ministry. He had been appointed by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in His Will and Testament, a Document which also provided for the continuity of this Institution as long as the Dispensation of Bahá’u’lláh endured through a succession of Guardians of the Faith each appointed by his predecessor "in his own lifetime." Sole interpretative authority of Bahá’í Holy Writ has been vested by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in the Guardians who also serve as the "sacred head and the distinguished member for life" of the Universal House of Justice, the highest legislative organ of the Administrative Order and in this capacity provide "the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action" of this institution and insure that such subsidiary laws as are enacted by this body are in conformity with the immutable Laws revealed by Bahá’u’lláh in His Most Holy Book. Shoghi Effendi stated that the twin institutions of the Guardianship and the Universal House of Justice "supplement each other’s authority and functions" are inseparable and are "the twin pillars that support this mighty Administrative Structure."

Unlike sans-Guardian Bahá’ís who believe that the Guardianship ended with the passing of Shoghi Effendi, the Bahá’ís under the living Guardian believe that Shoghi Effendi appointed his successor, Mason Remey, in faithful compliance with the sacred provisions of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and that only complete acceptance of him as the second Guardian and the "Center of the Cause"and, in turn, his appointed successor, constitutes fidelity to the Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh.

Wilmette NSA's Petition Rejected

The Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit DENIED the Wilmette NSA's petition for rehearing.  The next step, if the NSA decides to take it, is to file a petition for certiorari with the US Supreme Court.  They have 90 days. After that, the decision is final.

Such stupid petitions puts the Justice of the Baha'i Faith in a ridiculous position. The so-called House of Justice's approval for such actions, questions the sans-guardian's administrative legitimacy.

Baha'i Faith is Incomplete Without a Guardian

The visit of hand of the cause and the vice-president of International Baha'i Council Mr. Nosratullah Bahremand was highly successful. He gave an interview to Mumbai English daily newspaper and gave his view on the current situation of the Baha'i Faith. We have uploaded the clip of the news appeared in "The Asian Age" of today's edition. Please click on image to enlarge.

A Question from a Baha'i Who Is Investigating The Truth Independently

Q: Should I Tell My Bahá'í Friends That I am Studying the Orthodox Faith?

Ans:
Of course, that is entirely up to you. However, you should be aware that just as soon as the heterodox organization finds out that you are reading Orthodox Bahá'í material, the organization will put pressure upon you to stop reading it and to affirm your faith in and obedience to the heterodox organization. Don't make the mistake of believing that your Bahá'í friends will keep the matter confidential. They will not. They will notify an institution of the heterodox organization. You will most likely receive a call from an Auxiliary Board Member who will question you. The ABM will act like he or she is looking out for your own "spiritual health." In fact, the ABM is gathering facts to determine whether or not you should be declared a covenant-breaker for "the good of the entire community." Don't believe you will have a fair hearing or that your "Universal House of Justice" will carefully deliberate about whether or not you are a covenant breaker. They won't. If the ABM does not like your answers, it is likely that your community will be informed that you have a spiritual disease and must be shunned. The ABM will contact your spouse and insist that he or she leave you, together with your kids, and if your family refuses to do so they will be shunned also. You may not have heard about it but this has happened a number of times to others just like you. It will happen to you also. Why do this to yourself? While you are reading the material and before you have made up your mind, the last thing you need is to have this kind of pressure used against you. It may force you to make a decision before you are ready. Why not just quietly read the materials and refrain from telling anybody until you are ready to make a decision?

EVERYTHING WRITTEN IN THE WILL AND TESTAMENT WILL BE FULFILLED

The Hands being instructed in the Will to be ever watchful that there be no opposition to the guardian, and to cast out anyone who does so, that is pretty closely defined. And that must be within their limited jurisdiction. You have to remember that the existence of a Hand is predicated upon there being a guardian. And Shoghi Effendi relegated that function to himself. It all gets back to the matter that there must be a guardian in order for there to be a Bahá'í Faith. We also learned from `Abdu'l-Bahá that there has to be a guardian in order for the Universal House of Justice to have a God-defined president. As president of that body, he carries the Germ of God to their deliberations. He is the only individual who carries that to their deliberations. The Will does not prescribe any sort of infallibility upon the UHJ without the presence of the guardian, a guardian who is appointed by God. That guardian is the one who carries the Germ of God to its deliberations. When he does so, the UHJ has its level of infallibility. However, the guardian is the only one prescribed with the level of Infallibility to interpret Holy Writ.

It all gets back to the presence of a living guardian, a living guardian who carries the Germ of God, which may be used within certain prescribed conditions, and only those prescribed conditions. Without a living guardian within their midst, the UHJ is not a complete entity, and lacks any of the authority intended by `Abdu'l-Bahá.

Lets look at the concluding words of the Will and Testament: "To none is given the right to put forth his own opinion or express his particular conviction. All must seek guidance and turn unto the Center of the Cause and the House of Justice. And he that turneth unto whatsoever else is indeed in grievous error. The Glory of Glories rest upon you."

THE ILLEGITIMACY AND FRAUD OF THE BOGUS UHJ .......... THE TRUTH. (Part Seven)

Ali Nakhjavani tried to attempt to justify:
The legitimacy of the current so-called Universal House of Justice without the Guardian of the Faith.
Ali Nakhjavani cunningly questioned:
“Who limits the spheres of jurisdiction?” And he has put some distorted material together in the answer to this question. Let’s, therefore, examine his assertions:
He has written:
“In the ‘Dispensation of Baha’u’llah’ Shoghi Effendi points out that one of his duties was to provide “the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action of its [the Faith's] elected representatives” (WOB 148). It is obvious that the reference here is to the elected members of Local Spiritual Assemblies, National Conventions, National Spiritual Assemblies, as well as of the Universal House of Justice.”
Comment:
In order to perceive the depth of the deception and to observe the falsification, fabrication and alteration of the meanings of the writings of the first Guardian, Shoghi Effendi, of which he is guilty in the above comment, one need only read for himself/herself the following paragraph from page 148 of The World Order of Baha’u’llah to which he has referred to clearly note that Shoghi Effendi's has referred specifically and only to one of the essential functions that the Guardian performs as the permanent and irreplaceable "sacred head" of a legitimate Universal House of Justice as defined by 'Abdu'l-Baha in His Will and Testament.
“Without such an institution [the Guardianship] the integrity of the Faith would be imperiled, and the stability of the entire fabric would be gravely endangered. Its prestige would suffer, the means required to enable it to take a long, an uninterrupted view over a series of generations would be completely lacking, and the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action of its elected representatives would be totally withdrawn.”

THE ILLEGITIMACY AND FRAUD OF THE BOGUS UHJ.... (Part Three)

Nakhjavani has written:
“When the English translation of the Kitab-i-Aqdas was published in 1992, the Universal House of Justice had yet another opportunity to explain the implications of Paragraph 42 of the Most Holy Book. In relation to the Law of Succession in the Faith, this paragraph stands out as a most significant and decisive statement. For, in this paragraph Baha’u’llah clearly envisages a time when there would be no institution to embody the functions incumbent upon the Appointed and Authorized Aghsan (that is to say, a Guardianship). Further, the Universal House of Justice would not exist at that time and it would not be propitious to elect that Body. These points are fully covered in Notes 66 and 67, (pages 196 and 197) of the English text of the Kitab-i-Aqdas.”Comment:In the above paragraph Nakhjavani has based his comments on the same joint nefarious statements originally made by the former Hands and subsequently by the bogus UHJ in which they have falsely and shamelessly misinterpreted the meaning of passages contained in the Aqdas—that Most Holy Book—and spread false rumors. Knowledgeable believers will know that the right of interpretation and explanation of verses of the Aqdas, following the ascension of Abdu’l Baha, is in the exclusive sphere of the authority of the Guardians of the Baha’i Faith and even a real and legitimate Universal House of Justice established in conformity with the Will and Testament of Abdu’l Baha, will never infringe on that authority, as stated by Shoghi Effendi:
“Neither can, nor will ever, infringe upon the sacred and prescribed domain of the other.”
(The World Order of Baha'u'llah, p. 150).
In 1992 when they translated and published the Aqdas into English they added some notes to the Book, many of which contain unauthorized and erroneous interpretations.
It was previously mentioned above that the institutions of the international and local Houses of Justice were ordained by Baha’u’llah, but in most of cases simply the phrase: “the House of Justice” is revealed, leaving the distinction to be made between them by the authorized interpreter of His words. This fact somehow has been admitted by the bogus UHJ, among their many wrong and unauthorized interpretations that sinfully they have made of passages in this Holy Book in the following statement:
“In referring to the House of Justice in the Kitab-i-Aqdas, Baha'u'llah does not always explicitly distinguish between the Universal House of Justice and the Local House of Justice, both of which institutions are ordained in that Book. He usually refers simply to "the House of Justice," leaving open for later clarification the level or levels of the whole institution to which each law would apply.”
(The Kitab-i-Aqdas, Notes, p. 185)

THE ILLEGITIMACY AND FRAUD OF THE BOGUS UHJ.... (Part Two)

Nakhjavani deceitfully has written in his article:

“The obligation of the friends was now well-defined. They had to wait for the “guidance” of the Universal House of Justice, to elucidate what certainly appeared to be “obscure questions”
(WTp.20).

The expectations of the believers were fulfilled when, in response to questions asked, the Universal House of Justice.

Alert Everybody:

(Answer to Nakhjavani by the present Hand of Cause, Nosratullah Bahremand)
  1. The Guardianship is not included under the category of “obscure questions.
  2. It is glaringly obvious that the Institution of the Guardianship and the functions of the Guardian as “Head of the Faith” have been clearly and well defined by ‘Abdu’l-Baha in His Will and Testament and have been elaborated upon by Shoghi Effendi in his writings
  3. A genuine Universal House of Justice presided over by the Guardian will be able to adequately respond to any question about the Faith but the sans guardian Universal House of Justice is not in position to respond any questions as such UHJ is a bogus UHJ.

DOES SHOGHI EFFENDI CONTINUE TO FUNCTION AS THE GUARDIAN OF THE FAITH IN THE NEXT WORLD ALSO?

How can any Bahá’í who has read the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá rationally claim that the Guardian of the Cause of God continues to exercise his functions in the next world?
For, to so argue, as some incredulously do, how do they rationally explain, notwithstanding the explicit terms of the divinely-conceived and sacred Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá that require the Guardian to preside as “the sacred head and distinguished member for life” of the Universal House of Justice, and “attend in person its deliberations,” he is able to perform this essential role from the next world, and exercise as well the following additional rights and functions conferred upon him in that sacred and immutable Document that unquestionably require the Guardian to be present in this world?

“Should he not attend in person its [UHJ] deliberations, he must appoint one to represent him.”

“Should any of the members [of the UHJ] commit a sin injurious to the common weal, the guardian of the Cause of God hath at his own discretion the right to expel him whereupon the people must elect another one in his stead.”

MARTYRDOM OF BAB (9th JULY)

Bab the Forerunner of Baha u llah one of the two Promised Ones of all the past religions, left the world handing over His mission to Baha u llah to provide peace and salvation to the humanity. Baha u llah handed over this mission to His son Abdu’l Baha and He appointed to His grandson Shoghi Effendi the First Guardian of Baha’i Faith with an emphatic instruction in His Will and Testament that:

O ye beloved of the Lord! It is incumbent upon the Guardian of the Cause of God to appoint in his own life-time him (Guardian) that shall become his successor, that differences may not arise after his passing.”

Thus for the Continuity of Guardianship, Shoghi Effendi appointed his successor to Mason Remey as the Second Guardian of Baha’i Faith.

Mason Remey appointed his successor to Joel Bray Marngella as the Third Guardian, the Head of the Universal House of Justice delineated by Abdu’l Baha in His Will and Testament.

Study on the Distortions of ITC

A document prepared in March 2006 by the International Teaching Center of the sans-guardian Bahá'ís in Haifa in the title of:A Study on the Guardianship & The Universal House of Justice

This study was prepared for the use of Auxiliary Board Members and has no doubt been used extensively for their justification of not including a living guardian in their administrative order, even though Bahá'í Holy Writ ensures a continuous line of living guardians enduring the entire span of the Dispensation of Bahá'u'lláh, lasting at least 1,000 years.

Why a teaching center has to tell ABMs what to believe and discuss about the most basic of the foundational elements of the Faith. Is it that complicated? No, it is not.

In a paperback copy of a book, copyright 1980. Text under the heading:

“Bahá'í Covenant has been modified”. The next to last paragraph of the bogus UHJ version, page 129, in reading the next paragraph on that page, a major, modification provides erroneous information. The first half of the original paragraph, which discusses successive guardians, is no longer there.

They alter the meaning of passages in Baha’i books that were compiled prior to the death of the First Guardian.

Hand of Cause of God David Maxwell wrote a comprehensive Critique on the above study material. <Detail>

No Excuse in the Next World

WHAT WILL BE YOUR EXCUSE WHEN YOU MEET SHOGHI EFFENDI IN THE NEXT WORLD? (A POSSIBLE CREDIBLE SCENARIO)
SHOGHI EFFENDI’S UNDOUBTED INITIAL COMMENTS:
He would certainly say to you how greatly shocked, dismayed and saddened he had been, upon his passing, to note that so many of the believers, like yourself, who during his ministry had ostensibly evinced such faithful and steadfast faith in the Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh and firm belief in the sacredness and immutability of the divinely-conceived Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, in which the Guardian of the Cause of God is named as “The Center of the Cause,” and “the sacred head and distinguished member for life” of the Universal House of Justice had then readily accepted, without question, the incredulous conclusion that had been hastily reached and proclaimed to the Bahá’í World by the Hands of the Cause, gathered in conclave at Akká but a few weeks following his passing, that the Guardianship had come to a premature end based on the transparently fallacious argument that because all of the Aghsán had either died or had been declared violators of the Covenant he had left no will and testament appointing a successor.
YOUR PROBABLE EXCUSE:
As you considered the Hands who had been appointed by Shoghi Effendi to this exalted rank were more conversant on the Teachings and the provisions of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá than you were, they must have been right in their conclusion that the Guardianship had come to an end......... >>>DETAIL<<<
