Perfect Religious Knowledge

The patterns set in motion by biblical religion make the question of religious knowledge of the utmost importance. In essence, mortals have been brought into a state of potential. Everything has been primed in advance: human beings can collaborate with God, to match human actions with God's intention. It is possible to feel the momentum of this idea building; in the biblical outlook individuals can make the decision to let their wills act in unison with that of God, they can stand ready to live in accordance with the whole purpose of history. But how do they do so? How do they know if their actions are correct? How do they know what God's intentions are?

In trying to answer these questions, the biblical approach begins with a word of caution: no one is ever able to know God completely. No mortal can "become God" in the same sense as can the mystic. No one can claim, "I am God." At best, a human being can only gather information about God, collect insights into the workings of God in history, and on this basis construct what is believed to be a close approximation to God's will. But there is always room for error. Humankind is fallible; anyone can make honest mistakes, they can misjudge. There are, however, two things working in one’s favor: God's steadfast nature and desire to have that fellowship brought about. There is no method that guarantees perfect religious knowledge; individuals must act on trust. Consequently, the first step to such knowledge is the sincere desire and decision to understand God, no matter how imperfect that understanding may be.

YOU ARE NOT A BAHA’I IF…

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in Shaikh Ahmad Ehsaa’i and Syed e Rashti.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in Syed e Bab, The forerunner.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in Baha’u’llah and His writings and commands.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in Abdu’l Baha and his “Will and Testament” and all his Writings and Commands. You are a “Covenant Breaker”.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in the First Guardian of Baha’i Faith, Shoghi Effendi. You are a “Covenant Breaker”.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in the Second Guardian of Baha’i Faith, Charls Mason Remey. You are a “Covenant Breaker”.

You are not a Baha’i,
if you don’t believe in the Third Living Guardian of Baha’i Faith, Joel Bray Marangella. You are “Covenant Breaker”.

Attention:

He is not a Baha’i who believes in any SANS GUARDIAN Universal House of Justice.

Divine Administration of Baha’i Faith is based on Twin Pillars – (1) Guardian as a Head of Baha’i Faith and (2) Universal House of Justice.

Come on:

Let us investigate the Truth independently on this holy occasion of Ascension of Baha’u’llah.

Can the third guardian explain this question and answer from Kitab-i-Aqdas. I could not get it.

36. QUESTION: If the anniversary either of the Twin Birthdays or of the Declaration of the Báb occurreth during the Fast, what is to be done?

ANSWER: Should the feasts celebrating the Twin Birthdays or the Declaration of the Báb fall within the month of fasting, the command to fast shall not apply on that day.

FOLLOWERS OF BOGUS UHJ ARE CONFUSED
The Hand of Cause, the Vice President of Third International Baha'i Council, Nosrat u llah Bahremand replies to the comment:
Kevin’s question shows how the Baha’is who are following the bogus UHJ are confused due to their disobedience and infidelity to the current Guardian, Joel B Marangella, and on the other hand because of the misrepresentation of the bogus UHJ and its infringement upon the sacred and prescribed domain of the Guardian.

In 1992 when they translated and published the Aqdas in English without having authority to do so, they added some notes to this sacred Book, many of which contain unauthorized and erroneous interpretations. Equally they were guilty of similar transgressions in the introduction which they added to the Book.

Baha’u’llah, Himself, in that Most Holy Book has warned:
“Whoso interpreteth what hath been sent down from the heaven of Revelation, and altereth its evident meaning, he, verily, is of them that have perverted the Sublime Word of God, and is of the lost ones in the Lucid Book.”
 (The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 57)

The Birthdays of Baha’u’llah and the Bab were registered in the Hijri calendar which is a lunar calendar previously used in Iran and other Muslim dominated countries but today is mostly used for religious purposes. The Hijri calendar which is based on the Moon’s cycles consists of 12 months without a link to the seasons, a Hijri lunar year is usually 11 to 12 days shorter than a solar year so that an event which is registered at the same time in both calendars takes approximately 33 Hijri years to match up again. The Baha’is in Iran and the Middle East still celebrate these Holy Days on the lunar basis: the birth of the Bab on the first day and the birth of Baha’u’llah on the second day of the month of Muharram (the first month of Hijri calendar). The Baha’i calendar is on the solar basis, so it becomes obvious why the question is raised. Baha’u’llah relieved Baha’is from fasting if those Holy Days fall on the month of Alá’ (Loftiness).

To decide whether the Baha’is of Iran and the Middle Eastern countries will continue to celebrate these Holy Days on the basis of the solar calendar, as the Baha’is of the West currently do, or otherwise, will be left to the establishment of a true Universal House of Justice which will then have the Guardian of the Cause of God as its “Sacred Head,” as stipulated in the Will and Testament of Abdu'l-Baha, and accordingly thereby posses “the necessary guidance to define the sphere of legislative action of its elected representatives”.

MONTH OF ASMA (NAMES) 20th AUGUST TO 8th SEPTEMBER

The month of Asma provides example of His love and bounty, and a potent tool
The Bahá'í Calendar includes the month of Asma’, Names, and is observed by believers during the period between August 20 and September 8.

“Say: Nature in its essence is the embodiment of My Name, the Maker, Creator. Its manifestations are diversified by varying causes, and in this diversity there are signs for men of discernment. Nature is God’s Will and is its expression in and through the contingent world. It is a dispensation of Providence ordained by the Ordainer, the All-Wise.”

-- Bahá'u'lláh, Tablets of Baha’u’llah, page 142 –

It is most fortunate that the Báb provided special recognition for the month of Names in His calendar, which was later adopted by Bahá'u'lláh for His believers. This is a time when a special efficacy may be available to us while we ponder another of the spiritual avenues that leads to God’s bountiful release of His love, in order that we may worship Him in a fuller capacity than was available to any of the generations of the past. Indeed this is the Day of wondrous events that will guide humanity to the promised Kingdom of God on earth. The month of Names provides one more example of His love and bounty, and a potent tool for our contemplation and growth during our spiritual journey. For detail read:

“The Center of the Cause”

Series of Questions continued from the posting of August 5, 2008
Q.3.
How, or on what basis, did he become Guardian of the Faith?

Ans:
A very pertinent question to which there is a clear and unambiguous answer. His accession to the Guardianship was on the basis of his appointment in 1951 by his predecessor in Office, the second Guardian of the Faith, who had been appointed himself by the first Guardian of the Faith, Shoghi Effendi, the Grandson of Abdu’l-Baha, the Son of the Founder of the Baha’i Faith, Baha’u’llah, Who had been named by Him the Center of His Covenant with the believers. Abdu’l-Baha delineated the Institutions of the Baha’i Administrative Order in His Will and Testament in which the Guardianship is designated as “The Center of the Cause” and an Institution that is occupied without interruption by a succession of Guardians, each appointed by his predecessor in that Office throughout the duration of the Dispensation of Baha’u’llah, promised by Him to endure at least a full thousand years.

Q.4.
You maintain therefore that Joel Marangella became the third Guardian of the Faith strictly on the basis of the provisions of the “Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Baha?

Ans:
Yes. But, although none of the Baha’is deny the authenticity of the Will and Testament of Abdu’l Baha and recognize it as Baha’i Holy Writ and a Document, in accordance with whose terms, Shoghi Effendi became the first Guardian of the Baha’i Faith, those Baha’is, under the leadership of the Haifa organization, have not recognized the fact that Shoghi Effendi, faithfully provided for the continuation of the Guardianship, in accordance with these same terms, in appointing as his successor, Mason Remey, a highly distinguished Hand of the Cause, who then, in turn, dutifully appointed as his successor, the present third Guardian of the Faith, Joel Marangella, also in accordance with these terms.
