Ascension of Baha u llah

Baha’u’llah Says:
“None in the kingdom of earth and heaven can frustrate Thy purpose; none throughout the realms of revelation and of creation can prevail against Thee.”
This important holy day is celebrated on the 29th May, at 3 am.
It commemorates the anniversary of the death of the founder of the Bahá'í faith, Bahá'u'lláh.
Bahá'u'lláh died on the morning of 29th May 1892. He now lies buried in Bahji, in Israel.
The Orthodox Baha'is of India, Australia, USA and from all the other parts of the world mark May 29 the anniversary of the Ascension of Baha'u'llah, under the guidance of His Living Successor, the Third Guardian of Baha'i Faith, Joel Bray Marangella.
About a year prior to His passing, Baha’u’llah revealed His Will and Testament, which named His eldest son, Abdu’l-Baha, as His successor and constitutes the Covenant of Baha'u'llah,
Abdu’l Baha in his Will and Testament named his successor Shoghi Effendi, the First guardian of Baha'i Faith.
Shoghi Effendi appointed his successor to Mason Remey as the second guardian of Baha'i Faith.
Mason Remey appointed his successor to Joel Bray Marangella as the Third guardian of Baha'i Faith and he is the LIVING GUARDIAN. He wrote in a letter to Ruhiyyih Khanum:
“It was Shoghi Effendi’s intent and purpose to preserve the continuity of the Guardianship in faithful compliance with the provisions of the Will and Testament of the Center of the Covenant and that he, in fact, did so, but in such a disguised way that it was not perceived by any of us for the obvious reasons in this letter. No! The immortal “Child of Covenant” did not die after a life of only thirty-six years but will live as long as the Dispensation of Baha u llah endures”.

The Vacant Chair of Guardian

The Master Abdu’l Baha states the following in His Will and Testament (Page No.15):

By this body (UHJ) all the difficult problems are to be resolved and the guardian of the Cause of God is its sacred head.

Should he not attend in person its deliberations, he must appoint one to represent him.

Can any Baha’i in the world provide an answer as to why the “Chair of the Guardian” is vacant in the so-called UHJ in Haifa? Who is the “sacred head” of their UHJ at this time?

The anniversary of the declaration of the Bab

Dear Friends,
Tonight, two hours after sunset is when we celebrate the declaration of the Bab. This is the anniversary of that blessed event 165 years ago when Mulla-Husayn led by prayer alone found the Blessed One that all religions had been anticipating. Later 17 more people had to find him on their own without being told, directed only by God and their prayers. My hope is to pray with a similar fire in my heart and fervent desire that God might guide me to do what He would want me to do. Hungry for guidance, they searched and found the Light. I too would like to be guided by that Light.
May we all work together to make this world a better place and honor the teachings of our Faith?
Sincerely,
Janice

May 23, 1844 the anniversary of the declaration of the Bab marks the beginnings of the Baha’i Faith in Shiraz, Persia (Iran). The Bab, which means the “Gate”, proclaimed on that date that he was not only the founder of an independent religion, but the Herald of a New and Greater Prophet or Messenger of God, Who would usher in an age of peace for all mankind.
Bahá'í history is traced through a sequence of leaders, beginning with the
Báb's May 23, 1844 Declaration in Shiraz, and ultimately resting on an Administrative Order under the guidance of a LIVING GUARDIAN.

All the Orthodox Baha'is of India extend their heartiest Greetings on this auspicious occasion to the Beloved Guardian Joel Bray Marangella and to all the Baha’is of the world irrespective of the sects.
