Continuity of Guardianship in Baha'i Faith

Master Abdu'l-Baha states:
"...O ye beloved of the Lord! It is incumbent upon the guardian of the Cause of God to appoint in his own life-time him that shall become his successor, that differences may not arise after his passing... (a part of Will & Testament of Abdu'l Baha)

  2. Hello Mac,

    I am a Baha'i.
I have read the Will with discernment, 'open eyes', and with reference to history, the present, and the future.
I do not find it relevant to the "Cause of God" as outlined by Baha'u'llah.
Can you explain to me how the will is authorized to countervene what Baha'u'llah wrote?
    Thank you,

    Robert Clifton
